Professional Projects
After graduating from Otis College, I completed flight training for my private pilot license. I knew I wanted to fly but didn't know how that would fit into my life at the time. have always been creative and loved making anything and everything I came up with. so instead of choosing a career path, I split it in half to have the best of both worlds. Post graduation, I landed a job proving my creative capabilities to work on the interiors of corporate jets. I went from never seeing a corporate jet before to working on them every day. When I first started working at WJA, which was and still is mainly an MRO facility specializing in Gulfstream aircraft, the Interior Department was only a year old. There were a few guys working in the main interior shop doing removal and installation, and one guy working in the trim shop doing upholstery. My job was to work in the trim shop, but also in the main shop when help was needed. It's been an incredible experience getting to help grow the department and bring in the design aspect that wasn't there before. I learned so much and quickly that within my two years of working there, I had the opportunity to perform a wide variety of different tasks. These included fabrication and upholstery, R&I, quoting, design and rendering, flammability certification paperwork, meeting with customers, and working with vendors.
